What is the contact number for the FBO Office?

The phone number to contact the FBO Office (Cardan Aircraft Services) is 530-527-6547.

What is the address, length of the runway and is there a cafe available?
The Airport runway is 5,431 feet in length and the cafe has been updated with an opening date of June 6, 2016.  The address for the cafe and terminal building is 1760 airport Blvd.

Encroachment Permits

When do I need to obtain an Encroachment Permit?
If you are doing work that requires the cutting, breaking or removal of any City curb, sidewalk, driveway, water main, sewer main or street facility, you will need to obtain an Encroachment Permit issued by the Engineering Department.

If you are using the City right-of-way temporarily to place, store or park vehicles or equipment in the course of construction work related to the residence or business, you will need to obtain an Encroachment Permit, issued by the Engineering Department. All other use of public right-of-way  contact  Planning Department.
What is the cost for an Encroachment Permit?
The cost for an Encroachment Permit for the cutting, breaking or removal of any City curb, sidewalk, driveway or street facility is $141.00.

The cost for an Encroachment Permit for use of the City right-of-way temporarily to place, store or park vehicles or equipment in the course of work related to the residence or business is $56.00.

Sewer

The sewer has backed up in my home or business. Who do I call?
The sewer lines that run from the City's main line into your home are the owner's responsibility. You should call a plumber if you are the homeowner. If you are a tenant, you should immediately contact your landlord to contact a plumber. The plumber can then evaluate whether the blockage is in your lines or if the City needs to be called.

Street Issues

I have noticed a pothole in the street; a damaged sidewalk; a missing or damaged sign, who do I contact for repairs?
You can speak to or leave a message with the Administrative Technician for Public Works at (530) 527-2605 ext. 3067. Please provide the location information you wish to report.
There is debris, i.e. limbs, garbage, etc., in the street or on the sidewalk and it is too large for me to remove safely. Who should I contact?
You can speak to or leave a message with the Administrative Technician for Public Works at (530) 527-2603 ext. 3067. Please provide the nature of the debris and location information.
I see water coming up out of a manhole in the street. What should I do?
During normal working hours, M-F 8am to 5pm, call City Hall at (530) 527-2605 and dial "0" and you will be connected to an Operator. If outside of normal working hours call the Red Bluff Police Department at (530) 527-3131. Please provide the location information of the problem.
The street sweeper is not providing service on my street, or I do not know what day my street is scheduled to be swept, who should I contact?
The street sweeping of City streets is done by Green Waste of Tehama. You can call them at (530) 527-4281 for information.

Street Light Problem

The street light in front of my home or business is out, cycling on and off or damaged, who should I report it to?
You can contact the Administrative Technician for Public Works at (530) 527-2605 ext. 3067 or leave a message with the exact location, whether if the light is on a wood or metal pole, a light pole number, if obtainable, and the nature of the problem.

Or you may also go to the Pacific Gas & Electric web site and look under "Field Work & Projects" then "Street Lights-Report Problems" and provide the information requested.

Trees

The tree(s) located in the median strip between the street and sidewalk needs attention. Who do I talk to about City tree problems?
The City makes every effort to maintain City owned trees. You may contact the Administrative Technician for Public Works at (530) 527-2605 ext. 3067 to discuss the issues and every effort will be made to have the tree(s) looked at as soon as possible.
